Back to the zoo!

We went to the zoo with Benny and Gracie again. Here is a picture of the four friends hangin' out on the train (and yes, Andy kissed Gracie's nose again!):

On an amusing note, every time Becky and I go out with the kids, we get all these stares because everyone thinks that I have two sets of twins. Becky is expecting a girl, Hannah, at the end of June, and then I'm sure people will think I have three sets of twins! :)

Jakey's 2 month doctor visit

Jakey had his 2 month check up with Dr. Ulmer last week and boy has he grown! His weight is 12 pounds 8 ounces and his height is 22 3/4 inches. They say that babies are supposed to double their birth weight by six months, but at this rate he will make it there much quicker! He had to get 5 shots, which was very sad. Of course, he did not enjoy them one bit, but he stopped crying almost immediately after I picked him up. He's a tough guy!

Caleb's Spring Recital

Caleb's preschool had a spring recital last week. As you can see, Caleb wasn't very interested in singing. In fact, he asked his teacher, Mrs. Burton, how many songs were left in between almost every song. Needless to say, I don't think he's going to be cut out for a drama career!

What do you think?

Everyone that sees Jakey comments on the fact that he looks exactly like Caleb. There are definitely some similarities... what do you think?

To Grandmother's house we go!

We took a trip to Corvallis this week, to visit my grandma. She hadn't seen Jakey yet, and was very excited! The boys were, as usual, amazingly good. I gave them a special treat and let them watch a DVD on my laptop on the way there. It was more a sanity saver for me than anything, but they enjoyed it so much that they keep asking to go to No-Hami's house again, just so they can watch a show in the car. It was our first big road trip without Paul, and I am happy to say that it was a success!
