The Wiggles were in town Easter weekend so we left Jakey with Hami and Haha and headed over to the Rose Garden Arena for our annual Wiggles fix. We got some great seats again this year and Caleb and Andy seemed a bit starstruck as they watched the concert.

Jakey came down with a very nasty stomach bug this week. It's the sickest he's ever been, and it was so sad. There was no running around screaming, chasing his brothers, and making all kinds of trouble for the better part of four days. He's finally starting to get back to his old self. I will say, it was very nice to get to snuggle with him while he wasn't feeling well. I'll take it any way I can get it! :)

The boys had a great time dying Easter eggs this year. Hami had thoughtfully boiled the eggs for us while we were at church and they were ready to go when we got home. They were so intrigued by the color tablets that sizzled as they dissolved in the vinegar. We had one of those wax crayons so we had fun writing secret messages on the eggs. They thought it was magic!

Well, our baby is no longer a baby. Jakey turned one on March 5th and we celebrated in a small, but very special way. Grandma, Grandpa, Hami, Haha and Wendy all were there to commemorate this happy occasion. We had a big salmon dinner and then Jakey opened a present and dug into his cake. He was very timid with the cake at first, but after a few tastes, he was having a great time!

Sorry for being so absent this past month, folks. We've had tons going on. Jakey turned one, we moved my grandma down the street, my brother and parents are visiting, it was Easter, Jakey got sick, I could go on and on. I'm going to try to catch up with the next few posts.
